Adedamelola Adefolahan who is popularly known as Fireboy DML as his stage name is one of the richest fast – rising artist, songwriter, entertainer, recording artist and stage performer in Nigeria.
He was born on 5th February 1996, he hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State Nigeria. He grew up with his parents in Ogun State where he attended his primary and secondary school education. He relocated to Osun State and attended Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife where he obtained a degree in English Language.
While in the campus, he developed interest in music, he would always make some freestyles, and was later known by some of the students in campus.

Fireboy DML was assigned into YBNL Nation by Olamide in October 2018. Olamide confirmed the signing in a welcome note which he posted on Instagram that Fireboy was signed into the industry in replacement of Adekunle Gold who left the industry after he dropped his debut album titled “Life”
He released his most famous track titled “Jealous” in 2019 and was so happy because it became widely accepted by Nigerian music fans. This hit has also made it to top 5 of music billboard charts.
He released his debut studio album “Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps” the album which consists of 13 tracks features his previously released tracks “King“, “Jealous” and “What if I say“. The highly anticipated album is a solo project as he features no one.
